Platinum Central Air Conditioning Coverage | Oil Tank Protection | Loyalty Rewards

Heating and cooling equipment is expensive to install, and it makes sense to maintain it well. With expert preventive maintenance, your equipment runs reliably and achieves peak efficiency every year.

F.C. Haab offers Service Agreements for virtually any furnace, boiler or central air conditioner that include essential preventive maintenance. Some of our agreements also provide repair coverage that can greatly reduce your costs in the event of a major repair. When you purchase plans for both heating and air conditioning, you save $50 off the combined annual cost.

Frequently Asked Questions About Service Agreements

happy family

Q Do I need a service plan?

A There are three important reasons to purchase a service plan. First, it includes an annual tune-up, which should never be skipped. Second, it ensures 24-hour response to heat emergencies. Third, it protects you from expensive repair bills.

Q What about the cost?

A The cost varies from plan to plan, but each one delivers great value. Your plan includes the annual tune-up, which normally costs $119, and the tune-up reduces your heating costs by as much as 10 percent. Your plan can also shelter you from repair costs, which can be considerable for even a small repair, because parts have become very expensive.

Q Which plan is best for me?

A It depends on the level of protection you desire. Our Gold Plan offers the most complete repair coverage, so it makes sense for customers who are concerned about high repair bills. The Silver Plan offers less extensive coverage, but the price is lower. The Bronze Plan offers a tune-up without the extensive repair coverage, so it is ideal for customers who don't want to pay to protect against high repair costs. The Silver and Gold plans both include our Loyalty Credits.

Q What are "Loyalty Credits"?

A Each year you buy a service plan, you earn $50 toward the replacement of furnaces or boilers, burners, air conditioners, etc. You can accumulate up to $500 in credits.

Q Is all the service done by your own people?

A Yes. We maintain a full-time staff of highly trained technicians who perform all our service work. We never use subcontractors.

Q Will I be charged for labor on parts not covered by the service plan?

A Yes, although there is very little our Gold Plan doesn't cover.

Q If there are parts on these plans that my system doesn't have, am I paying for them?

A No. You're paying only for the parts your system has. For example, a furnace system has a blower that sends hot air through the vents, while a boiler has a circulator that sends hot water through pipes. The price of the plan takes this into account.

Q Can I spread out the cost of the plan(s) in small monthly payments?

A Yes. You can make convenient monthly payments through our Budget Plan.

Q Do you also cover central air conditioning systems?

A Yes, we're experts at it. And when you get our air conditioning coverage along with a heating plan, you save $50 on its cost.

Q What about oil tanks?

A We offer a Tank Protection Plan for the repair and replacement of oil tanks, which includes reimbursement for cleanup costs in the unlikely event of an oil release.

Q How do I get started?

A Just contact us. Please don't wait until you have a problem and face a big bill. Take care of this now, so you can rest easy all year long. If you have any questions, call us at 215-563-0800 or 610-789-6340.

Air Conditioning Tune-Up and Inspection

Happy Family F.C. Haab provides expert service on a wide range of central air conditioning equipment. We offer complete residential air conditioning service at a rate of $95 per hour, plus parts. These rates and this contract apply Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We also offer commercial air conditioning service during those same hours.

Every year, grass clippings, dirt and bugs build up and reduce your air conditioner's efficiency. Corrosion can poke holes in your refrigerant lines. Worst of all, when you lose cooling capacity, you may not know you're in trouble until you really need your system to be running full blast.

A yearly F.C. Haab A/C Tune-Up will save you money, prevent problems, and extend the life of your system. To keep your system operating at peak capacity, we:
  • Prepare the whole system for summer operation
  • Inspect and adjust refrigerant controls
  • Inspect and adjust temperature controls
  • Inspect safety controls
  • Check for refrigerant and oil leaks (refrigerant not included)
  • Check belts and adjust tension
  • Check air filters
  • Check and record operating pressures
  • Inspect and lubricate electric motors
  • Check compressor, evaporator motor, condenser motor, amperage and voltage
  • Clean lint and dirt from air-cooled condensers
  • Blow out condensate drain line
