Haab Energy works with many customers who receive Fuel Assistance under the auspices of the federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Below, please find information on how to apply for Fuel Assistance and Weatherization funding. 

Fuel Assistance and Weatherization

The federal government, in conjunction with state and local agencies, helps low-income residents pay for heating oil and efficiency-related home improvements. Here is information to help you contact assistance providers and learn whether your household qualifies. 

 

liheap.pngThe Pennsylvania Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps low-income residents pay their heating bills through home heating energy assistance grants. To find the county assistance office that serves your area, visit the Department of Human Services website or call 1-866-857-7095, or contact our credit department at 215-665-4910 for more information on LIHEAP and other programs. You can also use the state's COMPASS Website to determine your eligibility and find contact information. 
Pennsylvania's Weatherization Assistance Program is administered through the Department of Community and Economic Development. This program aims to reduce heating costs by improving energy efficiency. Funds can be used for insulation, heating system repairs or replacements, and more. Eligibility is based on income.
