Haab Energy Customers: Heating Help Is Available!

- 2:29 pm - January 12th, 2026

At Haab Energy, we truly care about your comfort – which also means your ability to pay your heating bills.

For many of our customers, these may not be the best of times financially – and that’s why we want to tell you about the Pennsylvania Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

LIHEAP helps low-income residents pay their heating bills through home heating energy assistance grants. From now until April 10, 2026, you can apply for a cash grant from $200 to $1,000 based on your household size, income, and fuel type. This is a one-time payment, and will be sent directly to Haab Energy to be credited on your heating oil bill.

Both renters and homeowners are eligible for benefits. To see if you qualify for LIHEAP in Pennsylvania, you must meet income requirements, which are set based on your household size. Please see this link for eligibility relating to household size and income.

By the way, you do not need to be on another public assistance program or have unpaid heating bills to qualify for LIHEAP.

Now that you know what LIHEAP is and you’ve checked whether you are eligible for assistance, you’re probably wondering how to apply.

Do you have more questions about LIHEAP? Please tap this link.

In addition to LIHEAP, Haab Energy has two other programs listed on our website to help you lower your energy bills:

At Haab Energy, we’re doing everything we can to help you stay warm this winter – and save energy and money, too! If you have questions about LIHEAP or any of our other programs, please call us at (215) 563-0800 or (610) 688-6500, or contact us.

Wishing you a warm and wonderful 2026!
